Adetokunbo Sangowawa
Adetokunbo Sangowawa is passionate about the practice of the engineering profession and the built environment. His career, which spans over 35 years, commenced at Ademola Fowora Associates. He later moved to Biobaku Faber & Partners, Nigeria (Formerly Oscar Fabers & Partners) and then KOA Consultants Ltd. He has been with KOA since inception and is currently the Managing Director of the firm.
His project experience covers all sectors of the industry including Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Educational, Healthcare, Hospitality and Public Buildings.
He holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He also hold a M.Sc (Building Services Facility Management) degree from Heriot Watt University Edinburgh, Scotland and a PhD in Architecture from the University of Lagos.
He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. He is a registered engineer with both the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the UK Engineering Council.
In his quest to ‘give back’ to his alma mater, he is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Architecture, University of Lagos.
