Attributes & Responsibilities
- Team player
- As a member of the design team and as part of the training and mentoring activities, assist and participate on project engineering services design.
- Assist with input on the creation and editing of technical specifications including required calculations to meet project requirements.
- Assist with carrying out research including coordinated design options in compliance with applicable guidelines, codes and regulations.
- Assist with desk-review/construction administration support such as reviewing contractor RFI’s, issuing field directives, performs construction observation and punch lists, reviews contractor change requests.
- Assist the Team Lead in interacting with Clients, Consultants, Contractors, and other project stakeholders to find solutions to project specific challenges.
Qualifications
- Minimum of B.Sc. or B. Eng.
- Registrable with relevant professional bodies
- Completion/ or exemption certificates of NYSC
- Proficiency in use of AutoCAD and Revit software (an added advantage).
